Boise State transfer portal tracker: All players who entered the portal after the 2024 football regular season

The Boise State Broncos made the inaugural 12-team College Football Playoff and they are awaiting their opponent in the Fiesta Bowl. With Ashton Jeanty as their centerpiece, the Broncos will now look to make some noise in the CFP.

Boise State will have some important holes on both sides of the ball in the offseason. Their wide receiver corps will lose their top two receivers in Cameron Camper and Latrell Caples. That leaves Prince Strachan as the leading returning receiver with 21 receptions for 264 yards and a touchdown.

Finding a replacement for Jeanty is also important, but the Broncos have Dylan Riley and Sire Gaines waiting in the wings.

The defensive line will also need fresh faces, as six players are finishing their eligibility this year. Starters Herbert Gums and Ahmed Hassanein are part of that group. Hassanein was second on the team with 8.5 sacks in 2024. The line should be the top concern for the Broncos.

While Boise State’s season is not over, they must start preparing for 2025 as the transfer portal is already open.

Udoka Ezeani, Linebacker

Junior linebacker Udoka Ezeani is entering the transfer portal. He did not record any stats in the 2024 season.

Malachi Nelson, Quarterback

Quarterback Malachi Nelson entered the transfer portal. Nelson went 12-for-19 for 128 yards and an interception in 2024. He was formerly at USC, where he threw three passes the previous year.

Kaden Dudley, Running Back

Kaden Dudley entered the transfer portal. The junior running back didn’t play in 2024 but had 16 carries for 56 yards in the previous two seasons. He added five receptions for 16 yards but didn't score a touchdown.

Zamondre Merriweather, Wide Receiver

Sophomore Zamondre Merriweather has entered the transferred portal. Merriweather did not play in 2024.

Khai Taylor, Cornerback

Khai Taylor entered the transfer portal. The sophomore defensive back recorded two tackles last season.

DeManuel Brown, Edge

Freshman DeManuel Brown is entering the transfer portal after not recording any stats in 2024.

Gabe Tahir, Safety

Gabe Tahir entered the transfer portal. The freshman safety recorded one tackle for the Broncos last season.

Dionte Thornton, Safety

Another safety is entering the transfer portal. Dionte Thornton did not play in 2024. He registered five tackles in 2023 and has been with the Broncos since 2022.

Oliver Fisher, Tight end

Freshman Oliver Fisher has entered the transfer portal. The Sherwood Oregon native didn’t play for the Broncos in 2024.

Jackson Grier, Wide Receiver

After one year in Boise, Jackson Grier is entering the transfer portal. The freshman did not register any stats this season.

Wyatt Milkovic, Linebacker

Linebacker Wyatt Milkovic is entering the transfer portal. He did not have any stats in 2024.
