The Buffalo Bulls traveled to Ypsilanti to take on the Eastern Michigan Eagles for a Week 13 Mid-American Conference matchup.
The Bulls dominated the first half, scoring 17 unanswered points. Buffalo forced an interception late in the half to take a 17-0 lead into the locker rooms and received the ball to start the second half.
The Bulls maintained their momentum in an action-packed second half, securing a 37-20 win and keeping their MAC Championship hopes alive.
Buffalo remained in the hunt for a MAC Championship game berth with a 5-2 record in conference play. The 7-4 Bulls earned bowl eligibility with their 51-48 shoot-out win over Ball State last time out.
Eastern Michigan, meanwhile, is out of the race in the MAC with a 5-6 record and a 2-5 mark in conference play.

Buffalo scored the only points of the first half. After three punts, a 90-yard pitch-and-catch from C.J. Ogbonna to JJ Jenkins gave the Bulls an 8-0 lead after a successful two-point conversion.
Buffalo broke a 15-minute scoring drought by forcing a safety with 9:23 remaining in the second quarter, extending its lead to 10-0. On the Bulls' ensuing drive, their offense marched 80 yards in 15 plays, with Victor Snow capping off a second touchdown drive of the first half with a seven-yard catch in the endzone to give Buffalo a 17-0 lead entering halftime.
Eastern Michigan got things going in a high-scoring second half, cutting Buffalo’s lead to 17-7 after a 38-yard pitch-and-catch from Cole Snyder to Terry Lockett Jr. The Bulls responded with a 10-play, 75-yard touchdown drive to extend their lead to 23-7 with 5:14 remaining in the third quarter.
The Eagles kept the scoring streak alive with a 13-yard touchdown catch from Lockett Jr. to bring the score to 23-13 entering the fourth quarter. With nine minutes remaining in the final period, Snyder connected with Markus Allen for a 78-yard touchdown to cut the lead to 23-20.
Buffalo responded quickly with a one-play touchdown drive from a 75-yard pass from C.J. Ogbonna to Al-Jay Henderson to extend the lead to 30-20. Star linebacker Shaun Dolac grabbed an interception and returned it 60 yards for a touchdown to clinch a 37-20 win for Buffalo.
