NFL draft analyst Ryan Wilson has laid out his expectations for the 2025 draft. The draft is not seen as a good one for quarterbacks, although quarterbacks might still get the top two picks.

After the NFL regular season ended and the draft order was set, Wilson sent out his latest mock draft. He has the Tennessee Titans selecting Cam Ward first overall and the Cleveland Browns selecting Shedeur Sanders second overall.

"Cam Ward going to the Titans. Shedeur to Cleveland. Coach Prime has said he will privately have some say in where Shedeur ends up. Travis to the Patriots. He is a game changer," Wilson said.

In Wilson's mock draft on CBSSports.com, he wasn't sure if Ward or Sanders were worthy of a first-overall pick.

"Cam Ward would've likely been no better than QB5 in last year's draft class, but he's QB1 in 2024. Teams had a late Day 2/Day 3 grade on him over the summer, but he's made big strides this season," Wilson wrote in his article.

As for Sanders, Wilson wonders if Deion would allow his son to be drafted by the Browns. But, he thinks Sanders could develop under Deshaun Watson and then take over in a couple of years.

"He'll stand in the pocket and take hit (after hit after hit) to make a play downfield," Wilson wrote. "He's not the athlete and doesn't have the arm strength of Cam Ward, but he does a lot of things really well. I would like to see him play on time more consistently, but part of that has to do with Colorado's inconsistent offensive line."

Sanders is favored to go first overall at -120, implying a 54.5% chance. Ward, meanwhile, has the second-best odds at +105, implying a 48.8% chance.

Deion Sanders dismiss lie surrounding Shedeur Sanders

During the college football season, a rumor swirled that Deion Sanders wouldn't allow his son Shedeur to play for the Tennessee Titans or Cleveland Browns.

However, Coach Prime took to X to clarify that rumor and said it was a lie.

"A Lie don’t care who tells it. Please stop trying to become relevant by misrepresenting my son. God bless you," Sanders wrote.

At Colorado last season, Shedeur Sanders went 353-for-477 for 4,134 yards, 37 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
