EA College Football 25 will be released on July 19 and more information was released about the "Road To Glory" mode on Thursday. This is the game mode where users can create their own player, and use them in a mode that showcases the journey from benchwarmer to champion.
This mode is common in the Madden series of games, and it will make an appearance in EA Sports College Football 25. During EA's "Road To Glory" deep dive, it was revealed that players can export their player from College Football 25 to Madden 25.
This will allow them to continue their created player's career from college into the NFL, just like many other players do in real life. To do this, players will need an EA account, and all the game updates installed.
Additionally, only Road To Glory players can be exported. Those created in Dynasty mode will not be able to move between games. So, while your player can make it in the Big Leagues, your coach will have to stay in College Football.
What positions are available for my Road To Glory player?
There are five positions that your players can play in this mode.
- Quarterback
- Running Back
- Wide Receiver
- Linebacker
- Cornerback
Each of these positions has a unique set of skills and challenges, meaning that each position will provide a different gameplay experience.
Are NIL Deals in Road To Glory?
NIL deals have become a key part of college football in the last few years, and they are the reason why the game will feature over 10,000 real-life players. In this mode, your player will be able to sign NIL deals.
By signing an NIL deal, the player will gain a reward to aid them either on the field (by improving Xp in certain abilities) or off-field (by improving coach trust or gaining followers)
Are Academics in Road To Glory Mode?
An ignored part of the College Football experience is the academic side. After all, every college athlete is a student at their university. The academic aspect will be a part of this mode.
Players will have to spend a little bit of energy each week on studying, as there are midterm exams on Week 8 and Week 15 of the season. The created player's GPA score must stay above 2.0, as this is the minimum GPA required by the NCAA for college athletes to be allowed to play.
By ignoring your studies, you risk falling below the required score, which will put your eligibility at risk.
