“can rub ppl the wrong way”: Antonio Brown empathises with ASU star Cam Skattebo amid “narcissistic” allegations on X

Arizona State Sun Devils running back Cam Skattebo has been able to show the college football world that he has a promising future ahead of him. All season long, Skattebo has been the driving force behind the Sun Devils' success and was nearly able to cause a massive upset as he helped his team take the Texas Longhorns to double overtime during the Peach Bowl.

However, with success come those who want to bring you down. Skattebo has been having to deal with these people a lot over the last few days. One of the comments on X (formally Twitter) that he has highlighted reads the following:

"@camskattebo5 humble yourself young man or your narcissistic attitude WILL BE your misfortune! Don't get ahead of yourself!"

NFL star Antonio Brown saw this and supported Skattebo through a post on social media.

"I dealt (with) criticism whole career champ. The passion & drive to be #1 can rub (people) the wrong way. Keep (doing) you twin! And keep (being) good person. Bright future," Brown wrote.

Skattebo had a strong season with the Sun Devils. He recorded 1,711 yards and scored 21 touchdowns from 293 carries. He has also been a reliable target for quarterback Sam Levitt. This was seen throughout the Peach Bowl defeat to Texas.

During this game, Skattebo caught 99 yards and found the endzone for multiple two-point conversions, which leveled the scores to take the game to overtime. But he also showed his ability to throw to the ball as well, throwing a 42-yard touchdown pass to launch the Sun Devils comeback.

Cam Skattebo NFL draft prediction

While Cam Skattebo has not announced anything in relation to the NFL draft, considering that he is a senior, he is likely to declare. Which round would he end up in?

Considering his strong performances this season, it may be somewhat surprising that NFL Draft Buzz rates him as the 12th-best running back while CBS Sports rates him as the 8th-best. This only highlights a strong running back class, which includes the likes of Ashton Jeanty, Omarion Hampton, and Quinshon Judkins. These players are likely to go before Skattebo in the draft, meaning that the later rounds is where Skattebo will be found.

NFL Draft Buzz described Skattebo as a fourth-rounder, while CBS said that Cam Skattebo would be drafted in the third round.
