Carson Beck committed to Miami, announcing the news on Instagram on Friday. The decision came just one day after his unexpected entry into the NCAA transfer portal. Initially declaring for the 2025 NFL draft in December, the former Georgia Bulldogs quarterback opted to use his final season of eligibility with the Hurricanes.

It's a decision some fans claimed to be because of his girlfriend, Hanna Cavinder, who plays basketball for Miami.

The 6-foot-4 quarterback is recovering from an elbow injury, which was reported to have influenced his decision to delay entering the NFL. The injury occurred during Georgia's SEC championship game win over Texas on Dec. 7, which led Beck to undergo surgery on Dec. 23 to repair the ulnar collateral ligament in his throwing elbow.

Hanna Cavinder, one of the dynamic Cavinder Twins, opened up about her partnership with WWE. Speaking about the Cavinder twins' involvement with WWE’s NIL (Next In Line) program, Cavinder described it as a recruiting initiative aimed at introducing athletes to the world of professional wrestling.

“We had a long-term partnership with them,” Hanna said. “Basically, their NIL program is like a recruiting program where they want you to understand what is going on.”

As part of the collaboration, the Cavinder Twins were given a firsthand look at the WWE universe. They toured the facilities, gaining insight into the WWE. Their partnership also included attending major WWE events, which left a lasting impression. Still speaking, Hanna Cavinder hinted at future collaborations with WWE but kept the details under wraps.

“We went to SummerSlam in Nashville, which was really fun,” Cavinder said. “And then we went to SmackDown, it was so cool. The superstars were awesome, being able to pick their brains and talk to them about it.

“We’re definitely doing something with them in the future, but stay tuned, you might see us in the ring.”

While the Cavinder Twins have already made waves as athletes, social media personalities, and entrepreneurs, their potential leap into the world of professional wrestling has added another level of excitement to their journey.
