Colorado Buffaloes QB Shedeur Sanders was seen talking to the camera while he performed for the scouts from the Las Vegas Raiders. The video, which was credited to Deion Sanders Jr., surfaced online and gained a high amount of attention from college football fans.
Shedeur is expected to declare for the 2025 NFL draft and is also considered a top-five pick.
Sanders was heard saying:
"Tell the Raiders I’m chilling"
Many fans were amazed by the video of Sanders becoming a part of the Raiders squad. The comments were as follows:
"I'm a buffs fan and a raiders fan this right up my alley!!!-been a buffs fan since guys like Chido, Akhello witherspoon, Laviahka shenault and Phillip Lindsay.. not a bandwagon buff," a fan wrote.
"Would love him as a Raider!" another fan commented.
But there was one who wasn't a fan of that move.
"That would be the absolute worst," a fan wrote.
A couple of fans see Shedeur Sanders as more of a Cowboy than a Raider.
"He's gonna replace Dak in Dallas," a fan chimed in.
"That’s Dallas’s next QB," a user said.
Meanwhile, one fan is clearly not a fan of the Sanders family in general.
"Sanders entire family is a bunch of losers and idiots," a fan commented.
Shedeur Sanders talked about the importance of bettering his footwork
In last year's college football season, Shedeur Sanders was sacked 52 times, a record that no QB would like to endure. To not repeat the mistakes he made last year, Coach Prime's son is aiming to perfect his footwork this offseason.
In an episode of his podcast "2Legendary With Shedeur Sander" with his brothers Shilo and Deion Sanders Jr., the star QB talked about the strategy he set for himself and how nailing his footwork is one on the top.
"I would definitely say, one, really just working on footwork and everything, and rhythm, knowing the pre-snap, knowing actually post-snap reality of what's going to happen," Sanders said. "Just throughout the play, just go through progressions, and work on footwork, really." (7:40)
Shedeur then went on to explain that the impact of getting sacked led him to change his usual routine.
"When you get sacked so many times over and over and over and over... bro you're footwork gonna be different than someone that hasn't got sacked that many times," Sanders said.
Even though the QB was sacked 52 times, Shedeur Sanders still threw for 3,230 yards, 27 touchdowns, and three interceptions. The team will start its season by playing against North Dakota State on August 29.
