Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers has been the talk of the town among college football fans, with several rumors about the quarterback's future floating on social media. While many expect Ewers to enter the 2025 NFL draft, the Longhorns star has now received a whopping $6 million offer to return to college football next season and enter the transfer portal after this season with Texas.

On Tuesday's episode of "The Rich Eisen Show," college football insider Bruce Feldman dropped his two cents on Ewers' situation. When asked by Eisen whether Ewers will enter the transfer portal or head toward the NFL Combine, Feldman said:

"My guess is he (Ewers) will be in the (transfer) portal. That's just a guess, but I think he is in a similar situation to Cam Ward and some other guys last year where I guess the NFL doesn't look at him as a top 50 pick. They look at him as probably a second or third or fourth-round quarterback." [Timestamp: 0:19]

Ewers began his collegiate career at Ohio State in 2021. He then transferred to Texas in 2022 and has been the team's starting quarterback ever since.

However, Ewers still has one more year of college eligibility and could play one more season at the collegiate level to boost his draft stock for the 2026 NFL draft. There are also signs that Ewers could transfer to a different program since Texas plans to hand Arch Manning the starting QB role next season.
