CFB insider declares Shedeur Sanders as top QB after 34-7 win over Arizona in Week 8 clash 

Shedeur Sanders continued to improve his draft stock on Saturday with another impressive performance against Arizona. The quarterback led the Buffaloes to a crucial victory over the Wildcats in Tucson, completing 23 of 33 passes for 250 yards and two touchdowns.

Following the performance, several analysts predicted Sanders to be the first quarterback off the board in the 2025 NFL Draft. CBS Sports Danny Kanell is the latest to voice a similar opinion regarding the Colorado signal-caller’s fate in the draft.

“The way the season is unfolding Shedeur Sanders is going to be the top quarterback taken. And should be,” Kanell tweeted from his account on Sunday.

Johnny Manziel also sees Shedeur Sanders as QB1

Johnny Manziel has expressed admiration for Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders, noting his standout performances this season. The 2012 Heisman Trophy winner believes the Buffaloes standout has the potential to be the top quarterback selected in the upcoming NFL Draft.

“Shedeur is obviously going to be a guy that’s going to be looked at and probably be the top quarterback coming off the board this year,” Manziel said on an episode of the ‘Big Bets on Campus Podcast.’

“He’s played well for what he’s around him at times, he had guys out this week, and he still continues to find a way to put up good numbers and play really well.”

Emmanuel Acho voiced his opinion on Deion Sanders and his son

Emmanuel Acho was impressed with Colorado’s performance in the dominant victory against Arizona on Saturday. He gave his view on both Deion Sanders and Shedeur Sanders.
