Deion Sanders finished his second season with the Colorado Buffaloes after leading them to a 9-4 record. However, Buffs safety Cam'Rom Silmon-Craig is already thinking about how Coach Prime will react in his first meeting back with the team next season.

When Sanders uploaded an Instagram post celebrating the end of Colorado's 2024 season on Thursday, Silmon-Craig dropped a cheeky response to troll his coach, while also tagging Deion Sanders Jr in his comment.

"Coach gone cry that first team meeting back 😂 @deionsandersjr," Silmon-Craig wrote.

On Saturday, the No. 20-ranked Buffaloes suffered a 36-14 defeat against the No. 17-ranked BYU Cougars in the Alamo Bowl. However, Colorado showed massive improvement from last season, when Coach Prime's team finished with a 4-8 record, failing to qualify for a bowl game.

Notably, this year's Heisman Trophy winner, Travis Hunter, is from Colorado. Hunter also won the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year award, while CU quarterback Shedeur Sanders was named the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year.

Hunter and Shedeur are expected to declare for the 2025 NFL draft, where they are projected early first round picks.

Meanwhile, Silmon-Craig was also an important member of the Buffs' defense. The safety recorded 89 tackles (64 solo tackles), 2.0 sacks, three passes defended, one forced fumble and one interception. It will be interesting to see whether Silmon-Craig also declares for this year's draft.

Deion Sanders' solid work at Colorado has led to a few NFL teams showing interest in him. Even other top college football programs are monitoring his situation.

However, Coach Prime has reaffirmed that he plans to remain at Colorado for next season. Per reports, Sanders signed a five-year $29.5 million contract with CU in December 2022. The deal also excludes any bonuses.

Sanders has posted a 13-12 record in two seasons at Colorado. He will aim to guide the Buffs into the College Football Playoff next season if he stays put in Boulder.
