Getting a rise out of Coach Prime is not as easy as you might think! However, this time, the Buffalos gaffer took to Instagram to post a hilarious reaction after former cornerback for the Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos, Lou Young III, posted on Instagram, mimicking Deion Sander’s locker room etiquette.
Sanders reposted the hilarious picture on his Instagram and also dropped a 4-word reaction to it in the comment section:
“I’m swanging on Lou!!!!”
Coach Prime’s reaction had the Instagrammers in splits, as his comment garnered over 600 likes since it was posted. The hysterical post drew the attention of fans and pundits alike. Shannon Sharpe’s Nightcap Show account also joined in the fun with a goofy quip:
"I thought this was Ron Isley😩"
Rapper Lil Keke could not resist reacting to the post either:
🤣🤣🤣
Houston-based hip-hop sensation Big Slim commented too:
😂😂😂
This was not the first time impressionist extraordinaire Lou Young III crossed paths with Sanders. Around a year ago, he sat down with Coach and Buffalo's placekicker Alejandro Mata for a group interview on the Thee Pregame Show Network.
You can find a clip of what transpired below:
Moreover, this was not the first time a celebrity had impersonated Coach Prime. Entertainer Samuel Crocker has always enthralled Netizens with his immaculate impersonations. The most accurate mimicry the social media sensation is known for is his impersonation of Deion Sanders.
The impersonations got so frighteningly precise that the final one caught the attention of Sanders himself. Prime reposted the mimicry of himself on Instagram and commented:
“Hilarious!!!”
For the uninitiated, there is a whole thread dedicated to impersonations of the beloved two-time All-American.
Is Coach Prime destined to part ways with the Buffalos?
Deion Sanders is arguably the most polarizing college coach of recent times, especially after he was placed at the helm of the Colorado Buffalos in 2023. Word on the grapevine is that Prime may defect to his hometown, Arlington, Texas, to take the reins of the Dallas Cowboys, with whom he won a Super Bowl in 1995.
Even though the rumor mills have been working overtime, Coach Sanders put an end to the speculation with an emphatic response on Fox Sports 1’s Speak talk show:
"I love it where I am!"
2024 has been nothing short of sweet vindication for Sanders, as the Buffalos have outperformed their abysmal 4-8 win-loss record from 2023 with a domineering 7-2. Thus, Sanders left behind all the talk of being a ‘publicity stunt hire’ by solidifying his case as a Coach of the Year candidate.
