Coach Prime is ready to bring the Alamo Bowl to Boulder. After a gritty 9-3 season and missing out on the college football playoffs, the Colorado coach is in San Antonio with his team to face the BYU Cougars on Saturday.

However, Deion Sanders appeared at a fan event before taking the field against Kalani Sitake's team. He engaged with the San Antonio crowd and channeled his eldest son, Deion Sanders Jr.'s, camera skills to record the proceedings during fan engagement. Then, Colorado superfan - Peggy Coppom, a.k.a 'Miss Peggy', was seen in the background as Sanders recorded the surrounding atmosphere. Have a look:

“She is the epitome of CU Buffs. She's the epitome of Buff Nation. She is the rock that holds us all together, and I'm thankful to know her. I really am,” the Colorado HC stated at his press conference one month ago as Miss Peggy celebrated her 100th birthday.

The 100-year-old Miss Peggy has been supporting the Buffs and attending their games since the 1940s.

Coach Prime announced Miss Peggy's arrival in San Antonio

Coach Prime is pulling out all the stops for Colorado's Alamo Bowl appearance, ensuring Miss Peggy made the trip. Sanders announced via Instagram that the 100-year-old has arrived in San Antonio. Sanders enthusiastically shared a photo of Peggy traveling, captioning it:

“Santa already came now it’s Ms. Peggys turn! She’s on her way to San Antonio!”

Miss Peggy even had a health issue involving her eyesight, but the Colorado coach ensured she wouldn’t miss out. He flew her to San Antonio to enjoy the VIP experience. In a video posted by Colorado Football, Miss Peggy said:

“I think I’m doing okay, my eyesight’s not good, though, so you got to get up pretty close and tell me who you are, because I can’t recognize anybody.”

A die-hard fan of the Buffs, she has been a season ticket holder for over 58 years, dating back to 1966.
