Shedeur Sanders made the final appearance of his college football career on Saturday. He threw for 208 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions while completing 69.6% of his pass attempts as the Colorado Buffaloes suffered a 36-14 loss to the BYU Cougars in the Alamo Bowl.

Plenty of rumors have been circulating about where the son of Pro and College Football Hall of Famer Deion Sanders will play at the next level. He is widely expected to be among the first two quarterbacks to come off the board in the 2025 NFL draft.

On Monday, Coach Prime called out reporters, claiming that he had revealed his preference for where he wanted his sons Shedeur and Shilo to begin their professional careers. The Buffaloes coach tweeted:

"It will be multiple IDIOTS that will say things that totally aren’t true regarding where I would like @ShedeurSanders & @ShiloSanders to play in the @nfl . If I say it I will say it directly to whom it may concern not a attention seeker. I do know @nflcommish personally! 🎤drop"

Sanders had an impressive collegiate career as he became the NCAA's all-time leader in pass completion percentage. He capped things off with a strong 2024 season that saw him lead the nation in pass completion percentage while ranking second in passing touchdowns and third in passing yards.

The Buffaloes quarterback threw for 4,134 yards, 37 touchdowns and ten interceptions while completing 74.0% of his pass attempts and adding four rushing touchdowns.

False report suggested that Shedeur Sanders has no interest in two NFL franchises

The 2025 NFL draft order endured a major shakeup in Week 17 as the New York Giants no longer possess the top overall pick. A report from X parody account Wesley Steinberg picked up steam, which tweeted:

"BREAKING: Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders has no interest in playing for #Browns or #Titans. This could have major NFL draft implications, Shedeur’s father Deion Sanders will demand his son goes to a big market team with good infrastructure for a young QB."

The Sanders family has not indicated where they want Shedeur to begin his professional career. It is unclear if they will leverage their name to get him to his preferred landing spot, similar to what the Manning family did for Eli in the 2004 NFL draft.
