Coach Prime reacted to the New York Jets interviewing Rex Ryan for their vacant head coaching position. When Deion Sanders learned about the news on X on Tuesday, he dropped a single emoji.
Ryan was the defensive line coach for the Baltimore Ravens when they won the Super Bowl in 2001.

He got his first head coaching job with the Jets in 2009. He compiled a 50-52 record during six seasons with the team. Ryan had a 4-2 postseason record with the franchise, taking New York to the AFC championship game twice.
Ryan then coached the Buffalo Bills for just under two seasons, finishing with a 15-16 record before the team fired him toward the end of the 2016 regular season.
Since then, Ryan has worked as an analyst with ESPN. However, it appears that he could return to coaching next season and Sanders has backed him to return to the Jets.
The Jets fired coach Robert Saleh on Oct. 8 after a disappointing start to the season. New York then appointed Jeff Ulbrich as the interim head coach for the rest of the season and finished third in the AFC East with a 5-12 record.
Coach Prime plans to remain in Colorado even after his sons Shilo and Shedeur Sanders go pro

After playing their final game for Colorado in the Alamo Bowl, Coach Prime's sons, Shilo and Shedeur, will enter the 2025 NFL draft. Hence, Sanders' future with the Buffs has drawn some attention.
However, Coach Prime has often said that he plans to continue working in Colorado, even after his sons go pro.
According to reports, Sanders signed a five-year, $29.5 million contract with the Buffs in December 2022. He is tied to Colorado through the 2027 season.
