The 32nd Alamo Bowl is set to light up San Antonio on Saturday, and coach Deion Sanders is hyping up his team, the Colorado Buffaloes, with his affirmations. "Coach Prime" has his hopes soaring as the team prepares for the big game against No. 17 BYU.

Sharing a simple yet important message of belief in his team, the CU football surroundings are holding the message “I Believe” high. Doubling down, Sanders wrote a strong two-word message via X on Tuesday.

“We BELIEVE!” he wrote while tagging his team as they head for the bowl game.

The post also had images of the Buffaloes surrounded by the rallying cry:

“I Believe.”

The message captures the confidence and culture that Sanders has built in just two seasons at Boulder. Under Sanders’ leadership, the Buffaloes have undergone a remarkable transformation. From a team with only one win in 2022 to a 9-3 finish this season and a first-place standing in the Big 12, the turnaround is nothing short of extraordinary.

Though the Buffaloes began their season with playoff dreams, and while those hopes didn’t materialize, Saturday's bowl game offers a chance to end their season on a high note.

Will Deion Sanders’ star players, Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter, play in the Alamo Bowl?

The upcoming Alamo Bowl in San Antonio will feature two of college football's brightest stars, Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter, as confirmed by Colorado coach Deion Sanders.

Despite the growing trend of draft-eligible players skipping non-championship bowl games to focus on NFL preparation and avoid injury, both Sanders and Hunter will take the field, providing a major boost to the Buffaloes' chances against BYU.

Shedeur Sanders, widely projected as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft, has been a standout quarterback throughout the season. His poise, precision and leadership have been instrumental in Colorado's resurgence under his father’s coaching.

Meanwhile, Travis Hunter, the reigning Heisman Trophy winner, will be just the second winner of the award to compete in the Alamo Bowl, joining Robert Griffin III from Baylor's 2011 appearance.

Both players are expected to be first-round selections in the upcoming NFL draft, and their decision to play in the Alamo Bowl also highlights their commitment to the program and the opportunity to cap off a remarkable season for Colorado.

With these stars leading the way, the Buffaloes can bring home another win before they finally end the season. Meanwhile, BYU has star athletes in action, making the Alamo Bowl a thrilling showdown in the heart of the Alamo City.
