Coach Prime's ex-wife Carolyn Chambers takes a trip down memory lane to highlight 7YO Bucky's love for Deiondra

Colorado coach Deion Sanders' eldest son, Deion Sanders Jr., nicknamed "Bucky," has done an incredible job of marketing the Buffaloes on various social media channels since the Sanders clan arrived in Boulder in 2022. He has continued to showcase clips from behind-the-scenes this season as the Buffs have improved to 4-1.

Off the field, Sanders Jr. recently became an uncle after his sister, Deiondra Sanders, gave birth to Baby Que by her fiance, R&B musician Jacquees.

Carolyn Chambers, Bucky and Deiondra's mother and Coach Prime's first wife, went down memory lane on Thursday, posting a picture on her Instagram stories of a form filled by a seven-year-old Sanders Jr. in which he had a special prayer for his sister and uncle, Jerrold.

"This was part of @deionsandersjr prayer journal when he was 7 years old. Anyone that knows my brother can appreciate this @deiondrasanders," Chambers wrote.

Bucky talks about his mother being broke

The Sanders clan, including Bucky, his maverick quarterback brother Shedeur Sanders and Shilo Sanders, have cut a niche for themselves on the college football scene by showing off their flashy lifestyles on various social media platforms.

Therefore, an interview that Sanders Jr. conducted laying bare the state of his finances shocked many. During an appearance on an episode of the "Reach the People Media" podcast, Sanders Jr. opened up about his mother Carolyn Chambers going broke because she helped him start his business.

“My mom deserves to do different things. My mom wants to go to Egypt to see the pyramids. I can’t help do that,” Bucky said. “My mom needs help paying the bills 'cause now she’s broke because she done helped me out too much.

“She helped me buy this machine and where I learned how to sew or my Cricut machine or some s**t where I would cut and then press the shirt. It’s like, she about the circuit and the machine, and the little vinyl. Now, she’s fu***d up. I done used her mortgage money, and I can’t do sh*t about it. My sister needs help, I can’t do sh*t about it.”

Bucky further revealed that although he had a trust fund set up for him, he could not draw from it until he turned 30 and had to hustle for all his needs in the meantime.

“The trust fund sh*t don’t work. It’s like the sh*t is stupid. You can’t touch that sh*t till you 30,” he said. “Now that I’m 30, it’s a blessing I don’t even need to touch that sh*t. I can’t afford to buy a fu***n section, to travel like that, that’s why I’m literally just sitting in Dallas. Like, I don’t have enough money to just move around like that.”

Despite their flashy lifestyles, various members of the Sanders clan have had financial issues. Shilo Sanders was embroiled in an alleged assault case that led to him declaring bankruptcy last year with several court sessions still in the offing.
