Coach Prime's ex-wife Pilar Sanders dons the 'Sanders' hoodie to reveal her latest artwork on social media

Colorado coach Deion Sander's ex-wife, Pilar Sanders, was the subject of an awkward moment with her ex-husband last week during their sons' Senior Day ceremony at Folsom Field. After Coach Prime walked Shilo and Shedeur Sanders down the field for the first part of the ceremony, he seemed to avoid his ex-wife as he handed over their sons for the second part of the walk.

On Friday, Pilar uploaded a clip to TikTok of herself wearing a 'Sanders' hoodie as she showed off her latest artwork. The post was captioned:

"Been wanting to do the sloooww wind! 🤣#fyp #foryourpage #blackandwhite #acrylic #acryliconcanvas #piart2022," Pilar Sanders wrote.

Pilar Sanders and Coach Prime stay civil despite a messy divorce

Coach Prime and Pilar Sanders had a messy divorce starting in 2011 and ending in 2013. During the proceedings, the Colorado coach got custody of their three children (Shilo, Shedeur, and Shelomi Sanders), while Pilar got visitation rights with them.

During an interview with TMZ, Pilar's lawyer, Larry Friedman, revealed the unusual way that his client found out that Coach Prime had initiated divorce proceedings.

"Heartbroken and surprised when [she] read ... that Deion announced his decision, on his own, to end their marriage. Pilar's sole focus and top priority for the last 12.5 years has been her marriage and children. Based on recent discoveries, [Pilar] now realizes that Deion did not view their family the same way," Friedman said.

One time, Pilar refused to return the kids to their father after a visitation and claimed that he had kicked and punched one of their sons. She was sued for defamation, and during the course of the very public trial, she was jailed for seven days for contempt of court and ordered to pay Deion Sanders $1 million.

Even the kids were dragged into it with Coach Prime's eldest daughter by his first wife, Deiondra, going on an expletive-filled rant against Pilar on a now-deleted post on X, accusing her of using her father for money.

Despite temperatures cooling down since then, there have been flashpoints between the couple, most famously in April after Shelomi Sanders entered the transfer portal against the advice of her father, prompting Pilar to make a video calling Coach Prime "selfish" for not supporting their daughter.

Since their messy divorce, Pilar Sanders and Coach Prime both appear civil, as the latter has coached their two sons while the former has shown up to support them as they navigated their college careers in Boulder.
