Coach Prime's ex-wife, Pilar Sanders, shared an emotional moment with her sons, Shilo and Shedeur, ahead of their final regular-season game together for the Colorado Buffaloes.
The trio embraced on the Folsom Field pitch, and Pilar transformed that moment into an Instagram reel on Monday. She also dropped an inspirational message for her two boys, who are expected to enter the 2025 NFL draft.
"When you Focus on what Matters, the Only thing that Matters is your Focus! ❤️" Pilar wrote in the caption of her IG post.
Prior to meeting their mother Pilar on the field, Shilo and Shedeur had a ceremonial walk with their father and Colorado coach, Deion Sanders. However, Coach Prime wasn't part of the group when Pilar posed for snaps with her sons.
The Buffs eventually crushed the Oklahoma State Cowboys 52-0 in their regular season finale on Friday. Shedeur led the offense expertly, throwing for 438 passes on 34 passes with five touchdowns and one interception. Meanwhile, Shilo helped Colorado get its first shutout win, posting four tackles and a fumble recovery.
Although Colorado is unlikely to make the College Football Playoff, the Buffs finished the regular season with a solid 9-3 record (7-2, Big 12). The Buffaloes will play a bowl game later this month.
Earlier this week, Deion confirmed that his big CU stars are expected to play in the bowl game, which means both Shilo and Shedeur are likely to take the field one last time together for Colorado.
How many children do Deion and Pilar Sanders have?
Deion and Pilar Sanders have three children. Apart from Shedeur and Shilo, they have a daughter, Shelomi, who is the youngest.
While Shedeur and Shilo have made a name for themselves on the gridiron, Shelomi plays college basketball for Alabama A&M.
Deion and Pilar were married from 1999 until their high-profile divorce in 2015.
