EA Sports College Football 25 was finally released on July 19. After an 11-year hiatus following NCAA 14, college football fans and gamers welcomed the new sequel with open arms and have had a very positive experience so far except for a few server issues.

However, Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders' son Bucky was not happy with the team's playbook in College Football 25. In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), he expressed his dismay over Colorado's offensive and defensive play style, stating that it might be the 'worst' in the game.

"Colorado gotta have the worst offense & defensive playbooks on the game.. Then they force u to play with them online"

One user pointed out in the comments that the playbooks for teams in EA College Football 25 are simulated from the 2023 season since the new campaign has not started yet. So last year, Sean Lewis and Charles Kelly were still the offensive and defensive coordinators of Coach Prime's team.

The Buffaloes went 4-8 last year, which could be a reason why the team's playbook is not as strong as others in the game. Deion Sanders did bring in Pat Shurmur and Robert Livingstone in the offseason as their new offensive and defensive coordinators to revamp the team ahead of their Big 12 reunion, but Bucky responded with this:

"I thought this was NCAA 25"

Colorado still makes an impression in College Football 25 as Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders are some of the top-rated players in the game

On a positive note, Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders and two-way star Travis Hunter received high ratings in the game. Coach Prime's son is the top-rated quarterback boasting a 93 overall. He is tied with Georgia's Carson Beck, surpassing the likes of Quinn Ewers and Dillon Gabriel.

On the other hand, Travis Hunter is one of the top 10 players in the game with a 95 overall. Given his performance for the Buffaloes last year, many expected him to be the top player in the game, however, Michigan RB Will Johnson claimed that spot officially with a 96 overall along with the likes of Will Campbell and Ollie Gordon II.

As time progresses, it will be interesting to see if EA Sports releases a patch where they refresh and update the playbooks according to the 2024 season.
