Colorado coach Deion Sanders, aka Coach Prime, has surprised several fans and analysts with his team's form of three consecutive wins after Week 2's demoralizing 28-10 loss to the Nebraska Cornhuskers, led by quarterback Dylan Raiola. Since then, the Buffaloes have won three consecutive games culminating in the 48-21 blowout win over the UCF Knights.
During the Buffs' Week 6 clash against the Knights, Terry Saban, the wife of retired Alabama coach Nick Saban was a guest picker on ESPN's "College GameDay" show — she picked Colorado to win, while her husband picked UCF.
During an appearance on Saturday's "College GameDay," Coach Prime showed that he noted the pick by Miss Terry in a hilarious exchange with Nick Saban.

“First of all, three things for you, coach,” Sanders said. “No. 1, the fishing ain’t good. I don’t fish here, I coach here. No. 2, you stunted on the whole set. They didn’t even get that. They asked you what car dealership, you say, ‘Mercedes and Lamborghini.’ That was a stunt. That’s the way to do it, coach. I love it. That’s the way to do it, coach!
“And third, I forgive you for last week, but my favorite, Miss Terry, had my back. I love you. I love you, Miss Terry! I love you!”
Saban revealed that he got blowback from his wife for picking the UCF Knights to win against Sander's Colorado Buffaloes.
“And she got on me because I didn’t (pick Colorado),” Saban said. “I want you to know that, too.”
Coach Prime and Miss Terry share a close bond
Deion Sanders and Nick Saban appear in an annual Aflac commercial which cemented their friendship even before the former arrived into the FBS with the Colorado Buffaloes.
Earlier in the week, during an episode of "Coach Prime's Playbook with Romi Bean," Sanders revealed just how close he was with Miss Terry and the help that she offered whenever the Buffs went through tough times last season.
"Let me tell you something. On our lowest moments last season… I put my morning messages out and it’ll be a text on from her just encouraging me and motivating me and I absolutely love this so I thank her for having our backs," Sanders said.
Coach Prime has been a polarizing figure in college football ever since he stepped foot in Boulder, but his friendship with Nick and Terry Saban has seemingly endured the rocky periods of his coaching career.
