Will Howard states gesture towards Curt Cignetti was 'playful' in nature
In the post-game interview, the Ohio State quarterback was questioned about his gesture by FOX reporter Jenny Taft. Despite his actions, Howard showed a lot of admiration for Curt Cignetti.
He addressed the situation by stating that he has a lot of respect for what Cignetti has achieved with the Indiana Hoosiers and that he was just trying to 'have some fun.'
"I just try to say we don't listen to the stuff on social media, but we hear it man," Howard said. "I was just having some fun with it. I got a lot of respect for those guys, man. What coach Cignetti has done over there, he's done a heck of a job. The Buckeyes are here and the Buckeyes won. You can Google that."
Ohio State is next scheduled to take on the Michigan Wolverines in their final regular season game. It will be interesting to see if they can go on to win the Big Ten title and compete for the national championship.
