Deion Sanders has turned things around for the Colorado Buffaloes in two seasons. After taking over a program that finished 1-11 the year before his arrival, Coach Prime led the team to a 4-8 record in his first season at the helm before improving to 9-4 in 2024.

While many expected him to leave following the departure of his sons Shedeur and Shilo Sanders, it appears that he will remain with the Buffaloes. Amid reports that Colorado will lose offensive line coach Phil Loadholt to the Mississippi State Bulldogs, there were suggestions that the program should target Pro Football Hall of Famer Mike Munchak as his replacement.

X user @CUandyy labeled the fit as perfect on Monday, tweeting:

"My #1 Option to replace OL Coach Phil Loadholt on Colorado's staff: Mike Munchak. Lives in Colorado, wants to coach, doesn't want to leave Colorado though. With the Broncos he turned Garrett Bolles from a bust into an All-Pro Connections with staff at CU Perfect fit. #SkoBuffs"

Check out the tweet suggesting the Colorado Buffaloes hire Mike Munchak below:

Munchak had an impressive playing career after being selected eighth overall by the Houston Oilers in the 1982 NFL Draft.

He remained with the franchise for his entire 12-year career, earning 10 All-Pro selections and nine Pro Bowl selections. He was named to the NFL 1980's All-Decade Team and selected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2001.

On retiring, he spent the next 28 seasons in various roles with the Houston Oilers, Tennessee Oilers/Titans, Pittsburgh Steelers and the Denver Broncos. Munchak hasn't coached since the 2021 season.

NFL analyst suggests move for Deion Sanders and Shedeur Sanders to land with same franchise

Deion Sanders coached his son, Shedeur Sanders, for his entire collegiate career. Nick Wright suggested that the New England Patriots should consider keeping the tandem together.

On First Things First, the sports media personality said that all options must be on the table:

"If the (Tennessee) Titans agree with you, who have the No. 2 pick, and the Titans are like, 'Listen, we would take Shedeur, but if you guys take him, we like Drake Maye more than Cam Ward'.
"As an added bonus, you have a chance to truly revamp the New England Patriots by going Shedeur Sanders 1, Travis Hunter 2, Deion Sanders head coach."

Wright noted that Deion Sanders turned around the Buffaloes program in just two seasons. It's unclear, though, if the Patriots have any desire to move on from quarterback Drake Maye and coach Jerod Mayo.
