The Big 12 will be introduced to the Deion Sanders show next season as the Colorado Buffaloes have formally joined the Power Four conference. The move will come during the popular coach's second season at the FBS level.

Ahead of the Big 12 Media Days, Coach Prime appreciated his team's home ground, Folsom Field, in an Instagram post. The image showcased the beautiful backdrop of Boulder and the Rocky Mountains in the background.

"There’s No Place Like Home! @cubuffsfootball #CoachPrime," Deion Sanders captioned the post.

Deion Sanders addresses future at Colorado

After a sensational 3-0 start to last season, Deion Sanders was repeatedly linked to more prestigious jobs in the NFL and college football. Despite finishing with a 4-8 record, his future in Boulder has been a constant topic of speculation.

Mile High Sports analyst Mark Knudson wrote in a column that Coach Prime has "no concrete plans" to stay in Colorado beyond this season after his sons Shilo and Shedeur Sanders and two-way star Travis Hunter depart for the NFL.

"The clues/hints are everywhere: Lack of emphasis on high school recruiting, a revolving door of assistant coaches, the blatant 'Daddy Ball' atmosphere and drama that’s surrounding his life and his program, along with his ties to the south and to Jerry Jones in Dallas," Knudson wrote.

The Colorado coach has repeatedly emphasized how important his sons' NFL draft statuses are to him. Fans have construed this to mean that the Buffs' job is being used as a ladder to get favorable landing spots for them.

During an appearance on "Big Noon Conversations" with Fox Sports analyst Joel Klatt, Deion Sanders said that he had no plans to depart Colorado just because his sons will leave for the NFL.

"Let me start by saying I'm a leader of men, not a follower of men. I'm a father, not a baby daddy. I lead my sons, I don't follow my sons. My sons, Travis included, are getting ready to migrate to the NFL. I'm not following them to the NFL," Sanders said.
"So I plan on being here and being dominant here because they're establishing something that we're going to continue to build on for years to come."

With the notoriety that Sanders has brought to their program, making it a Mecca for celebrities every gameday, Colorado fans will be heartened by their popular coach's declaration.
