Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders has indulged himself with his passion for fishing this offseason. Apart from preparing the Buffs for their Big 12 reunion, Coach Prime has been spending a lot of time angling and catching a variety of fish during his angling trips.

Sanders embarked on another adventure with his good friend, Warren Sapp, who is also a graduate assistant for the Buffs. Both spent the day fishing and managed to reel in a big Peacock Bass during the trip.

Coach Prime shared snippets of the adventures on his Instagram.

"Great day of Catching with @warrensapp & his incredible friends! Love you guys man. That was incredible and we will be back. The PEACOCK Bass, Bass & the Fish I caught was the Bomb. The Peacock Bass & the Blue Gill has s** and created an awesome fish I caught also I don't recall the name of it was awesome as well," Coach Prime wrote in the caption.
"I forgot what they call it but I know what went down. That was the biggest Blue gill/PeaCock Bass combo I've ever seen. Can they live in my lake in Texas or Colorado?"

Just a few days ago, Deion Sanders had gone out on another fishing trip with professional experts Kevin Rogers and Matt Looney, who are also his friends. They gifted the Colorado head coach a new customized fishing boat in collaboration with Bass Cat Boats. The rig had a sleek all-black body along with customized seats with 'Prime' written across.

Travis Hunter beats Deion Sanders in a friendly fishing battle

The Colorado two-way star shares the same passion for fishing just like his head coach. They embarked on an angling trip together where they had a friendly competition to see who could catch the most fish.

Surprisingly, despite Deion Sanders' years of knowledge and experience, Travis outscored him, reeling in 10 fish to Coach Prime's three.

Following a 4-8 debut last year, Coach Prime will be looking for success in the Big 12. And after using the offseason to revitalize and rejuvenate, it will be interesting to see if the Buffs can go on to be a contender in 2024.
