Colorado transfer portal tracker: All players who entered the portal after 2024 football regular season

The Colorado Buffaloes had a great 2024 season and nearly made it to the Big 12 championship. Colorado finished the season going 9-3 and will take on BYU in the Alamo Bowl.

After a good season, several players have hit the transfer portal in hopes of getting more playing time. Here's a full list of Colorado's players who have entered the transfer portal.

Destin Wade, QB

Destin Wade has entered the transfer portal after just one season at Colorado. Wade began his college career at Kentucky and appeared in just one game for the Buffaloes.

Walter Taylor III, QB

Walter Taylor III is the second quarterback from Colorado to enter the portal. He didn't appear in a game for the Buffaloes after beginning his career at Vanderbilt.

Asaad Waseem, WR

Colorado wide receiver Asaad Waseem has entered the transfer portal. Waseem didn't record any offensive stats in two years with the Buffaloes.

Colorado Buffaloes wide receiver Jordan Onovughe entered the transfer portal. Onovughe had just one catch for six yards in 2024.

Cordale Russell, WR

Cordale Russell will look for his third college team in as many years. Russell was a four-star recruit who committed to TCU in 2023 but transferred to Colorado in 2024.

Morgan Pearson, TE

Morgan Pearson spent two years with Colorado and converted from linebacker to tight end. He now hits the portal.

Tyler Johnson, OL

Tyler Johnson officially entered the transfer portal after being dropped from Colorado's team in October. He began his college career at Houston.

Yakiri Walker, OL

Former UConn center Yakiri Walker transferred to Colorado but was dropped from their roster in October. He now entered the transfer portal once again.

Payton Kirkland, OT

Payton Kirkland has entered the transfer portal after just one season at Colorado. Kirkland redshirted in 2023 at Texas before transferring to Colorado in 2024.

Dayon Hayes, DE

Colorado defensive end Dayon Hayes entered the transfer portal. Hayes had 3.5 tackles for loss and two sacks before suffering a season-ending injury.

Rayyan Buell, DL

Rayyan Buell entered the transfer portal after one season at Colorado. He began his college career at Ohio for two years.

Johnny Chaney, LB

Johnny Chaney entered the transfer portal after one year at Colorado. He began his college career at Florida A&M.

Adonis Forrest Jr., S

Colorado Buffaloes safety Adonis Forrest Jr. entered the transfer portal after being dropped from the team in November.
