Deion Sanders and his Colorado (6-2, 4-1 Big 12) team made a trip to Lubbock on Saturday to play Texas Tech (6-3, 4-2 Big 12) in a high-stake encounter. It was a game many had their eyes on due to the postseason implications.
The Buffaloes were off last week, but the team saw its path to the Big 12 championship game become clearer after Iowa State and Kansas State suffered defeats to Texas Tech and Houston, respectively. This made the Week 11 encounter even more crucial.
The Red Raiders are not far off the top and also have a chance at the conference championship game if they win out and more top teams suffer upsets. They have an offense that has won them games this season and the Saturday game was a stern test for them.
