Deion Sanders is preparing for his second campaign as the head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes. He transferred from Jackson State last year along with his sons Shedeur and Shilo, as well as two-way star Travis Hunter.
However, despite all the hype surrounding Deion Sanders' arrival in Boulder, the Buffs registered a disappointing 4-8 campaign, failing to qualify even for the bowl games.
On "2Legendary with Shedeur Sanders," Shilo and Deion Sanders Jr. appeared as guests. When Shilo was questioned about his offseason preparation, he said he had been watching films from their 2023 campaign and felt that he could have done well on the field if he used his instincts.
"I feel like since last year, and I'm just watching film of just last year everything, how everything went down, I feel like I could have definitely did better on just using instincts bro," Shilo said. "Cause football is about it's a game of instincts," Shilo said.
"I'll be like right there and I feel like If I just use my instincts like my Prime Time instincts thats engraved in us, you know what I'm saying. Then we'll get there, make it happen. But I feel like I just you know, I feel like way more comfortable now, I feel way smarter. Cause that year of extra experience is definitely good." (11:55 onwards)
Last season, Shilo Sanders was an important part of Deion Sanders' defense on the field. He completed his Colorado debut with a team-high 70 total tackles.
For the upcoming season, Deion Sanders has revamped the roster and the coaching staff for their Big 12 reunion.

College football insider Greg McElroy said that while he is confident of the Colorado Buffaloes being bowl-eligible this year, their tough schedule makes it highly difficult for them to make the playoffs.
"Colorado, I do believe is bowl game bound this year. The problem is that they are moving into is all about the offensive and defensive lines," McElroy said on his show, "Always College Football."
"The schedule is extremely difficult. And the matchups, the matchups for Colorado are something that I don't feel great about. I expect them to improve. But this is a see it to believe it business." (3:45 onwards)
Will Deion Sanders exceed all expectations and make the Colorado Buffaloes a wild-card contender for the new 12-team playoffs? Or will it be a repeat of their last season's performance?
