“Cringe,” “Ew”: CFB fans left unimpressed as Travis Hunter, Dillon Gabriel’s fiancee team up with Heisman nominees’ GFs for a fun video

The Heisman Trophy ceremony was a star-studded event that happened on Saturday and ended with the Colorado Buffaloes' Travis Hunter winning the prestigious award.

However, there was a moment before the ceremony that was all about the girlfriends of the four players who were nominated. They went viral on TikTok for gathering together on the red carpet to film a video.

College football fans quickly took to the comments section with their reactions and some did not like what they saw.

"Ewwww," a fan said.

"Cringe," another fan said.

Others thought that they wouldn't be with their boyfriends for long.

"They all about to get Russell Wilson'd or CeeDee Lamb'd in like 4 months," one fan wrote.

"None of them will make it through their first contracts," another fan wrote.

However, this fan liked the video.

Some believe they took attention away from the Heisman Trophy finalists.

Travis Hunter's fiancé reacts to his Heisman win

Travis Hunter was awarded the Heisman Trophy after his strong season on both ends of the field for the Colorado Buffaloes. Hunter was a big reason for the team's success, and his Heisman win sets him up to potentially be the No. 1 pick of the 2025 NFL draft.

Hunter's fiancee, Leanna Lenee, posted on Instagram after Travis won the award.

“Winner winner chicken dinner," Lenee captioned.

Leanna was also mentioned in Hunter's acceptance speech.

"First, I want to thank my fiancée and my mother," Hunter said. "They’ve been with me since the first time I had surgery my first year of college. They never took a step away from me. All the hard hours. All the hard days. All the times I didn’t want to wake up and even get on my phone, look at football, y’all stayed with me. I’m very thankful for y’all.”

The couple is engaged and will get married before the 2025 NFL Draft, where Hunter will find out which team he'll play for.
