Shedeur Sanders will be gearing up one final time for the Colorado Buffaloes before focusing on the 2025 NFL Draft. Coach Prime's son helped the Buffs become eligible for their first bowl game appearance since 2020.

After a 9-3 campaign this season in the Big 12, the Buffs will take on the BYU Cougars in the Valero Alamo Bowl.

Before this high-octane Bowl game takes place, the Buffs and the Cougars were present during the Alamo Bowl luncheon on Friday. Shedeur Sanders was present for the luncheon along with other Colorado players, including two-way star Travis Hunter.

During the luncheon, Shedeur heaped praise on Hunter and his talents. Hunter won the Heisman this season, being honored as the best college football player this season.

"He (Travis Hunter) is the greatest player in the country. I mean, hands down, he proved it week after week, game in and game out. And throughout all the adversity, you know, he's standing through everything, through the thick of it and the thin of it."

Shedeur Sanders also revealed his most favorite part about being a part of the same team as his father and brother Shilo Sanders. According to the QB, watching Coach Prime yell and get angry at Shilo gives him immense satisfaction as a brother.

"My favorite part is definitely when he (Coach Prime) yells as Shilo," Shedeur said amidst a burst of laughter from the crowd. "That's my favorite part. Nah, he yells as Shilo and then, in practice, he stands back there, like just watching Shilo and gets on him every single play."

Shedeur and his brother transferred from Jackson State when Deion Sanders became the head coach of the Buffs last season. After a 4-8 debut, the QB has helped the program to some success in the Big 12 this year.

Shedeur Sanders also tallied a total of 3,926 yards and 35 touchdowns passing for Colorado on the gridiron. While Hunter won the Heisman, the QB was honored with the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, given to the best quarterback of the season.

Coach Prime hypes up Shedeur Sanders and co. ahead of Alamo Bowl showdown

The Alamo Bowl game against BYU will be an emotional one for Deion Sanders as it will be the last time he coaches his sons in college. However, this has not led to him being astray from the overall objective of the program as a whole, to win the Alamo Bowl.

After Colorado's final training before traveling to Texas for the game, Coach Prime urged senior players on the team to unleash their utmost potential on the field. He also gave them a reality check by talking about how it would be the team's final game together.

"Guys, this is your last Friday, let that sink it. Our last Friday as well, we gonna make it good, we gonna make it right, we gonna be concise, we gonna be precise. No blown assignment, we go in a good speed. We're gonna take care of each other, let's be disciplined. Let's try to perform today, like we perform tomorrow."

The Colorado vs BYU Alamo Bowl is scheduled to be held on Dec. 28. It will be broadcast on ABC live from the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. Can Shedeur Sanders end his collegiate career with Bowl success?
