Colorado coach Deion Sanders arrived in Boulder and thrust his family into the spotlight. Deiondra Sanders, his firstborn daughter has become synonymous with defending her father and brothers from any bad press.
This year, she has opened up about her pregnancy with her fiancee, R&B singer Jacquees, and even mistakenly confirmed the birth of her child a few weeks ago before retracting the news.
On his 57th birthday, Coach Prime revealed that his baby daughter had given birth.
"Do you understand how beautiful that is?" Sanders said.
Deion Sanders shows support for his daughter
When Deiondra Sanders announced her pregnancy with Jacquees, she revealed on Instagram just how difficult it was for her to conceive and the troubles she experienced while carrying her child to term.
Deion Sanders commented on the Instagram post to offer his fatherly support and encourage his daughter to embrace the difficulties.
"PREACH BABY PREACH, and u having this baby to make me a darn GRANDDADDY even though I'm YOUNG! I Love u baby, and I'm glad u said u ain't having a baby to keep a man. You've always had a MAN in your life that u call DADDY & ain't gon ever ever let u DOWN especially when I'm UP," Deion Sanders wrote.
The Buffs sideline leader was initially skeptical about being a grandfather. However, Coach Prime has since shown excitement for his newest family arrival. Sanders expressed this enthusiasm in a clip posted on the Well Off Media channel:
"Much love, much respect and I'm proud of my big baby girl. She's gonna have a little boy. So the little engine is gonna be a little boy, which I'm excited about.
"We've already signed him up for soccer lessons. We've already got him enrolled with some of the best soccer coaches, and she's saying that he's gonna be tall but they said the same thing about Bucky [Deion Sanders Jr.)."
Although he did not attend the couple's exclusive gender reveal party, the former NFL superstar has not stopped speaking about his grandchild. Deion Sanders received possibly the best birthday gift he could've asked for.
