Deion Sanders is back in the Nike fold, and sneakerheads couldn’t be more excited. After years of estrangement, Nike and the Colorado football coach rekindled their partnership last year. The duo is now bringing back the Atlanta Falcons-themed Nike Air Diamond Turf, ready to hit retail in February.
The original Nike Air Diamond Turf, famously worn by Sanders during his playing days, has seen numerous retro colorways, but the Falcons-themed version is turning up the heat. The shoe features a sleek black-and-white upper with contrasting red-and-gold details, perfect for both performance and casual wear.
Constructed with a mix of leather and synthetic materials, these cleats boast durability and style. The Atlanta Falcons-themed Nike Air Diamond Turf will cost $115.

What happened between Deion Sanders and Nike?
Deion Sanders and Nike have had a roller-coaster relationship. The iconic athlete and coach signed with Nike in 1992, leading to the creation of the groundbreaking Diamond Turf 1 shoe, introducing a unique style to the market.
However, the partnership soured over time. By 2017, Sanders was publicly criticizing Nike, claiming he was not adequately compensated for his contributions.
"That's why I'm upset with them right now," Sanders said in an interview with Complex (Timestamp: 2:30). "We created these together, but they don’t want to seed me, they don’t want to direct deposit."
Despite his strong words, Sanders, who once declared he'd "never" engage with Nike again and put his trust in Under Armour since 2009, has since mended fences with the sportswear giant. The renewal of this partnership has seen Nike outfitting Sanders and his Colorado Buffaloes team.
"We welcome Deion Sanders back to the Nike family," the American giant said in a statement last year.
With Sanders back with Nike, the legacy of the Diamond Turf series continues, much to the delight of sneakerheads and sports fans alike.
