Deion Sanders' daughter Deiondra clarifies birth announcement "misunderstanding", deletes her latest X post

Since announcing her pregnancy in March, Deiondra Sanders, the daughter of Colorado coach Deion Sanders, has regularly updated fans on her pregnancy journey. Last month, she shared videos of her gender reveal party with her fiancé, R&B singer Jacquees.

On Thursday, she posted a tweet hinting at the birth of her child.

"4 lbs 8 ounces," Sanders wrote.

Deiondra immediately deleted the tweet after her followers started to congratulate her on the news. She posted a clarification, revealing that she had not yet given birth and that the previous tweet was about the baby's weight in the womb.

"Sorry for the misunderstanding. I haven’t had my baby yet. Thats just his weight so far. He is growing so big. Now he is 4 lbs 8 ounces and still growing weekly," Sanders tweeted.

Her father, Deion Sanders, who has shown his excitement at the prospect of being a grandfather, immediately replied to her tweet with a funny remark.

"Thank you for that clarification. You almost got cut off. Lololololol"

Deiondra Sanders gets engaged to rapper Jacquees

Deiondra Sanders and Jacquees revealed their relationship last year and after they announced their pregnancy news in March, the couple has been inseparable, appearing together in several photo shoots posted on Instagram.

On Wednesday, the R&B singer popped the question to Deiondra Sanders and the couple finally got engaged. It happened on the same day as their baby shower.

Sanders showed her excitement with a post on Instagram celebrating the news and revealing that the decision to propose to her took a lot of courage.

"Baby momma who? 😂😭 lol Nah for real tho. We done came a long way in such a short amount of time. This speech was everything. Reassurance and showed me you do be paying attention. 🥲 I am so ecstatic," she wrote in the caption.

"I was not expecting this at all. I don’t even gotta say much cause we both know what’s up. 🤞🏾I know this took a lot of courage, honesty, letting go of fear, epic nerve and self assurance. I am so proud of you and I will be here every step of the way to help you become the man God intended you to be💕," Sanders added.

Deiondra repaid the favor by refurbishing her fiancee's semi-truck, a long-held wish of his. The couple seems to be thriving even as they await the birth of their child.
