Is Deion Sanders what the Dallas Cowboys need? There's been much talk about the possibility of Coach Prime joining Jerry Jones' team next season as the head coach.

Mike McCarthy seems to be on thin ice right now, as the Cowboys have an overall record of 3-7 and are essentially out of the playoff race. Monday Night Football's 34-10 loss to the Texans was the nail in the coffin of Dallas' season.

Monday night's encounter with the Houston Texans was a make-or-break affair for the Texas franchise. The Cowboys were certainly broken. This has driven even more speculation regarding who will be the next coach of Jerry Jones's Cowboys. Deion Sanders seems to be on everyone's minds. There's also lots of speculation regarding the Cowboys being able to draft Shedeur Sanders, Deion's son.

The latest to come out of the rumor mill is a post by hall of fame Michael Irvin, who posted a picture alongside Jerry Jones and added the following caption:

"I spent Friday night with Jerry Jones. I spent Saturday with ⁦‪@DeionSanders‬⁩. I spent Sunday with the lord PRAYING for ???? ????? (GUEST WHAT) Now after what the ⁦‪@dallascowboys‬⁩ looked like on Monday Night Football. 😳😳😮😮🤷🏾🤷🏾Gotta work harder!!!"

Is Michael Irvin facilitating a return for Deion Sanders to the Dallas Cowboys? Perhaps. If that was Irvin's intent, Sanders seems to be grateful with him commenting the following on the post:

"Love ya man."

Does Deion Sanders need convincing to join the Dallas Cowboys?

Michael Irvin has been digging into the subject of Deion Sanders moving to Dallas for some days. On a November 12th episode of Speak on FS1, the former wide receiver poked Coach Prime about the possibility of being the next head coach for the Dallas Cowboys to which the latter just started repeating:

"Stop that, I love it where I am. Let me show you where I am. I love it where I am."

The Colorado coach took the question as banter and even stood up from his desk mid-interview and went outside his office to show a shot of Folsom field while he continued to state that he is quite happy at Boulder. This caused the cast of Speak to burst out laughing.

Has Michael Irvin turned Deion Sanders to his way of seeing things?
