In the video, Wise explains what happens when someone leaves a narcissistic partner first, saying:

“Ever wonder what happens when the partner of a narcissist leaves the relationship first? Trust me, it’s not going to be a normal breakup. This is a huge blow to the narcissist’s fragile ego.”

Fans of early-2000s reality TV might remember Deion and Pilar from their Oxygen series, Deion & Pilar: Primetime Love. The couple, who tied the knot on May 21, 1999, split in 2013 after a tumultuous divorce that included a heated custody battle over their three children and disagreements over their prenuptial agreement.

During the proceedings, Pilar accused Deion of having a “narcissistic personality disorder” and alleged emotional abuse towards her and their kids, according to TMZ.

The former couple shares three children: Shilo, born Feb. 9, 2000; Shedeur, born Feb. 7, 2002; and Shelomi, born Dec. 14, 2003.

Deion Sanders emerged victorious in a defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife, Pilar Sanders

Deion Sanders emerged victorious in a defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife, Pilar Sanders, securing $2.2 million in damages. The court ruled in Deion's favor after Pilar accused him of domestic violence and other serious misconduct, allegations that he argued were false and damaging to his reputation, according to TMZ.

The couple divorced in 2013, with their premarital agreement requiring Deion to pay Pilar $1 million. However, Deion filed the defamation lawsuit, claiming that Pilar’s post-divorce statements — shared on social media, in online videos and even during a national news broadcast — falsely accused him of abusing her and their children and attempting to murder her. He argued these claims tarnished his reputation and caused significant financial harm.

On the final day of the trial, the court found Pilar liable for defamation, awarding Deion $2.2 million in damages. Additionally, the court allowed Deion Sanders to offset the $1 million owed from their divorce settlement against the defamation award, as reported by Justia US Law.
