Deion Sanders Jr. shut down a hater on Instagram who appeared to belittle a tackle made by Colorado's Shilo Sanders in the third quarter of Friday's matchup against Oklahoma State. A user pointed out that the Buffs were celebrating Shilo's tackle after the Cowboys running back, Ollie Gordon, had completed a first down.
Deion Jr. appeared to take notice of the comment and responded to the IG user by using the score as a reference to the celebration.
"Celebrating being up 28-0," Deion Jr. wrote.
The Buffs eventually crushed the Cowboys 52-0. It was their first shutout win of the season and Shilo got big praise from fans on social media. The defensive back finished with four tackles and one fumble recovered.
Colorado finished the regular season with a 9-3 record (7-2 Big 12). The Buffs will now prepare for their bowl game later in December.
Shilo finished the regular season with 59 tackles (43 solo tackles), one sack, one pass defended and one forced fumble.
Deion Sanders Jr. has been promoting Colorado this season
Deion Sanders Jr. has been closely covering and promoting the Colorado Buffaloes on social media platforms this season. His exclusive content of the CU program has helped him grow his "Well Off Media" business.
Deion Jr. tends to provide exclusive footage and behind-the-scenes action of Colorado players. He uploads videos on his YouTube channel, as well as on Instagram and TikTok.
One of the main reasons why Sanders Jr. promotes Colorado is because he has family members who are associated with the program. His father, Deion Sr., is the Buffs coach, while his half-brothers Shilo (safety) and Shedeur (quarterback) are among the top players on the roster.
Shilo and Shedeur are likely to go pro next year, but Sanders Sr. appears to have made it clear that he plans to remain with Colorado.
