Colorado coach Deion Sanders' sons, Shedeur and Shilo Sanders potentially finished their college football careers with a 36-14 loss to the BYU Cougars in the Alamo Bowl last Saturday.
On Friday, Shilo released a rap single titled "Hate 2 Love" and his elder brother, Deion Sanders Jr. celebrated the milestone by reposting the artwork from the song's cover with fire emojis on his Instagram stories.
Coach Prime's eldest son also indulged in a rap career and released a single "Iggy" last year in May but has since focussed on creating content via his "Well Off Media" company.
Shilo Sanders continues in his father's footsteps
Shilo Sanders has taken after his charismatic father, Colorado coach Deion Sanders after releasing his rap single "Hate 2 Love." In 1994, Coach Prime released a hit album "Prime Time," while still a San Fransisco 49ers player.
Last year, Shilo mirrored his father's career by playing Coach Prime in the season 3 finale of the hit television series "BMF—Black Mafia Family," which was titled "Prime Time." It was a real-life depiction of his father's association with Demetrius "Big Meech" Flenory and his brother Terry "Southwest T" Flenory.
After the news was announced, the Buffs coach celebrated his son playing him in the hit series in a heartwarming post on Instagram.
“Season 3, Episode 10 guess who's playing a young PRIME! I’m so proud of Shilo Sanders he did the Doggone THANG! Good Lawd the Sanders boys are exercising all the gifts that GOD gave them and having fun living this life that we only get 1 shot at. Live kids Live. #Dad #Bob,” Coach Prime wrote in the caption.
During an August interview with Complex, Shilo Sanders revealed his feelings at being given the opportunity to portray his father in "BMF."
“It’s just kind of normal like doing commercials and stuff, it just felt like the same but it was cool being able to officially portray that,” Shilo said.
Shilo Sanders dropping his debut rap single rounds off the Sanders clan all trying their hands in the music industry alongside their football careers but perhaps Shedeur Sanders' "Perfect Timing" has eclipsed all their efforts when it hit two million listens on Apple Music in October.
