Colorado safety Shilo Sanders has been heralded for his classy gesture to take pictures with fans after the No. 17 Buffaloes had lost 36-14 to the No. 17 BYU Cougars in the Alamo Bowl. The Buffs safety has grown a considerable fanbase of his own despite being overshadowed by his charismatic father, Deion Sanders, and his brother, quarterback Shedeur Sanders.

On Friday, Shilo teased the release of a new rap song titled "Hate 2 Love" on Instagram and did a photoshoot with a $110,000 Tesla Cyber Truck (as per Tesla's website).

He captioned the post:

"Good life #hate2love 📷 @zvchmiller," Shilo Sanders wrote.

In the post's comments section, his brothers, Deion Sanders Jr. and Shedeur Sanders, had the same reaction, posting fire emojis to celebrate the milestone.

Deion Jr. further added a one-word comment:

"Legendary."

Shilo Sanders continues lavish lifestyle despite declaring bankruptcy

Shilo Sanders has been battling to get a settlement claim of $11.89 million against him thrown out by declaring bankruptcy in October 2023. The issue stems from an incident in 2015 when the Colorado safety was 15 years old and was accused by security guard John Darjean of assaulting him, causing lasting damage including incontinence.

When the matter went to trial in 2022, Coach Prime's son did not appear in court, resulting in Darjean being awarded $11.89 million and leading to Shilo declaring bankruptcy. Last year in November, Darjean's attorneys accused the Buffs player of concealing his NIL earnings with brands like Starz, Oikos and Google to avoid paying the settlement.

“On the surface, this omission is as glaring as it is preposterous because it is Shilo’s very NIL value and/or public value that are the source of the non-stop paid engagements and social media appearances,” Darjean's filing said.
“The entire underpinning of the NIL concept is the value of the individual athlete, but Shilo chose not only to hide the value of the entire NIL endeavor with the ‘unknown’ listings for the two of the entities that were disclosed (Big 21 LLC and/or SS21 LLC), but Shilo intentionally failed to identify and disclose his individual NIL property interest anywhere in the schedules.”

On Dec. 17, the odds tilted slightly in favor of Shilo Sanders when Judge Michael E. Romero ruled that the case would be re-litigated to find out the state of mind of the college football star during the altercation in 2015.

“This Court has already determined the issues of willful and malicious behavior will be re-litigated in this proceeding,” Romero said. “That determination will necessarily involve an examination of any justification, including self-defense, offered by Sanders for his allegedly willful and malicious behavior.”

Shilo Sanders exhausted his college football eligibility after finishing the season with the Colorado Buffaloes and will head to the NFL via the 2025 draft. However, even with his bankruptcy case still hounding him, he has not shied away from lavish posts even after filing late last year.
