Quarterback Shedeur Sanders and the No. 23-ranked Colorado Buffaloes were not able to win their last game of the season. Instead, they lost 36-14 to the No. 17-ranked BYU Cougars in the Alamo Bowl.

It was a disappointing result after such a strong season for the Buffaloes. However, in the morning after the game, both Shedeur Sanders and Deion Sanders Jr. dropped similar positive messages on Twitter. Deion Sanders Jr. wrote:

"Thank You God for another day."

Meanwhile, Shedeur Sanders wrote:

"Thank you GOD."

The two messages were posted precisely an hour apart on Sunday. While the loss was disappointing for the team and its players, it appears both members of the Sanders family have a positive outlook despite the loss.

Shedeur Sanders will enter the 2025 NFL draft

These posts from Deion Sanders Jr. and Shedeur Sanders could be the two family members reflecting on their experience together in Colorado. The Sanders family had the rare opportunity to have four members of their family associated with the team in some way.

Deion Sanders is the coach of the team, and two of his sons, safety Shilo Sanders and quarterback Shedeur Sanders, have played for him for the past two seasons. Additionally, Deion Jr. worked for the team as a videographer. He helped run the team's social media accounts.

However, it will no longer be possible for all four members of the family to be associated with the Buffaloes. Coach Prime is expected to stay on as the coach, and there has been no indication that Deion Jr. is leaving as a videographer.

However, Shedeur and Shilo are both in their final year of NCAA eligibility and will declare for the 2025 NFL draft. Shedeur is expected to be one of the top picks in the draft. He is viewed as one of the top two quarterbacks in the draft alongside Miami's Cam Ward.

As a result, Shedeur is projected to be a top-five pick in the draft. Some projections even have him as the first overall pick. Most experts expect that he will be drafted by either the New York Giants or Las Vegas Raiders.

It is much harder to project where Shilo Sanders will go. He is viewed as a late-round pick and could go to any team.
