Deion Sanders vows to sanction players over poor academic record
In the recent episode of Well-Off Media, Sanders addressed his team about academic performance, emphasizing the importance of handling their responsibilities in the classroom.
Sanders made it clear that immediate action would be taken to rectify this issue, warning players that if they don't meet academic standards, they will not participate in football activities the following week.
"You guys that's flunking something," Sanders said. "You got until next week or you gonna be out of football stuff and into the class. And have no more football responsibilities.

Deion Sanders plays down Travis Hunter comparison
Travis Hunter has been impressive this season. The two-way star has continued to lead the Heisman Trophy race in 2024. This has led to a comparison with Deion Sanders and the coach wasn’t having it during his Tuesday media interaction.
“It's not me against Travis," Sanders told reporters. "I had my turn, man. I'm not a doorknob anymore. You can't just turn me on and off like a light switch anymore.
“I don't do that. Travis is everything. He is 'it.' It's his turn now. I want him to have all the accolades, all the praise, all the love, all the attention and all the focus that he desires. I've had my turn.”
Sanders excelled significantly during his days at Florida State. He was a two-time All-American, showcasing his elite skills on the Seminoles’ defense. His remarkable college career in Tallahassee was highlighted by winning the prestigious Thorpe Award.
