Deion Sanders' sons, Shilo and Shedeur, are set to enter the 2025 NFL draft. There has been a lot of attention on the two young Colorado stars since some reports have suggested that Coach Prime might have a say in where they land in the big league.

During Tuesday's episode of his "Fearless" YouTube show, analyst Jason Whitlock explained how Coach Prime could add to Shedeur's problems ahead of this year's draft.

"I think Deion is part of the risk factor here," Whitlock said to his guest Steve Kim. "Every NFL team, regardless of who the family is, regardless of who the quarterback is, they end up dealing with the family as well." [Timestamp: 1:28:17]

Shedeur enjoyed a great 2024 season with Colorado, boosting his draft stock tremendously. The quarterback racked up 4,134 passing yards and 37 touchdowns with 10 interceptions. He also rushed for four touchdowns across 13 games, leading the Buffs to a 9-4 record.

Shedeur's final season in Colorado has led analysts to believe that he could be among the top three picks in this year's draft. This would mean he could be picked by any one of the Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns, or New York Giants.

Nonetheless, some also believe that Sanders could hand-pick exactly which coach will develop Shedeur in the NFL.

Since Shilo and Shedeur are expected to enter the 2025 NFL draft, there has been some speculation around Deion Sanders and whether he will remain at Colorado after his sons go pro.

However, Coach Prime has insisted that he remains committed to working with the Buffs next season.

CU hired Sanders in December 2022 when they gave him a reported five-year, $29.5 million contract. He has compiled a 13-12 record in two seasons with the team.
