An almost immediate touchdown followed, with a two-point conversion in their next drive. When the Sun Devils took the ball back, the Longhorns were able to intercept it to end the game.

Deion Sanders's team is coming off a disappointing postseason defeat. Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter couldn't match the BYU Cougars' output in the Alamo Bowl. Sanders' team lost 36-14.
