Strahan exclaimed as Coach Prime cheekily responded: "You mean this, with eight toes?" as he rolled up his pants. However, the Colorado HC has managed to keep up his upbeat demeanor. His determination to fight back against his health challenges shows the positive outlook that he preaches.
Deion Sanders gives opinion on men's health
The Colorado Buffaloes head coach commented on men's mental health in an interview with "Good Morning America." Sanders, who faced serious health challenges last year, emphasized the critical need for men to pay attention to their health.
Reminiscing his experience with blood clots and subsequent surgeries, he opened up about the importance of seeking medical help.
“I'm proud of my amputation,” Sanders boldly stated. “I'm not shy about what transpired. I'm back. I'm fighting back, baby.”
Sanders underwent two surgeries to remove blood clots from his thighs. He advocated for men to overcome the stigma surrounding medical care.
“We don't like to go to the hospital. We don't like to get checked out. We're men. We don't supposed to cry,” Sanders said. “We don't supposed to hurt. We don't supposed to feel pain.”
His remarks stem from a common issue among men who often avoid seeking help due to societal expectations. Stressing the necessity of preventative care, he urged men to prioritize their health.
