Aranda is in his fifth season as the coach of Baylor. His best year came in 2021 when he led the school to a 12-2 record and won the Big 12.

However, he followed that up going 6-7 the following season and 3-9 the year after. In total, Aranda is 28-29 as the coach of the Bears.
