The Tennessee Volunteers are 4-0 and are on their open week in Week 5. Tennessee is coming off a 25-15 road win over Oklahoma on Saturday in a statement win in the SEC.
After the impressive victory, Tennessee gets a bye to reset and get some players healthy for another stretch of games.

The Tennessee Volunteers do have a legitimate chance of making the College Football Playoff.

Tennessee is ranked fifth in the latest AP Poll which puts the Volunteers in a good spot to make the 12-team playoffs. However, the Vols do have tough games against Georgia and Alabama which could hinder their chances of making the postseason, especially if Tennessee loses both of them.
However, DraftKings has Tennessee at -250 to make the College Football Playoff, which implies a 71.4% chance of coach Josh Heupel's team making it happen.
CBS college football analyst Will Backus believes if Tennessee can split the games against Alabama and Georgia, it is all but guaranteed a spot in the playoff.
"Tennessee will be heavily favored in all but two of its remaining contests. One of those, against No. 4 Alabama, comes at home. Going on the road to play No. 2 Georgia is a tall task, but the Vols don't even need to win either game to make a 12-team playoff," Backus wrote.
"Close losses to two top-four teams while maintaining a 10-2 record in the SEC will likely earn them plenty of leeway with the selection committee. Split those games and the CFP is a guarantee. Barring a complete disaster, Tennessee should be seen as a lock at this point."
For now, the Vols control their own playoff destiny through four weeks.
