The USC Trojans are off to a disappointing 4-5 start in their first year in the Big Ten. USC is coming off a 26-21 road loss to the Washington Huskies in Week 10.
Does USC play today?
The Trojans don't play today as they are on their second and final open week of the season.
USC returns to action at home on Saturday, November 16, against the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
Can USC make the College Football Playoff?
The Trojans can't make the College Football Playoff as they already have five losses this season. No two-loss ACC or Big Ten teams can't make the playoffs, so USC at five losses means it won't be playing in the 12-team CFP.

The focus for USC now turns to winning two of its final three games to be bowl-eligible.
However, Trojans coach Lincoln Riley has made a quarterback change for the final three games. USC has benched Miller Moss as the team will start UNLV transfer Jayden Maiava.
"When we went back and looked at it, we felt like it was in the best interest of the team to give Jayden a chance here," Riley said after Tuesday's practice, via ESPN. "This is not a reflection of anything more than we have another good player in the room and we feel like he gives us a good opportunity. ... It's really that simple."
Despite benching Moss, Riley heaped praise on the signal-caller, but he just wants to see what he has in Maiava.
"You could literally not change one thing that Miller's done and we could be sitting here with a really, really good record right now," Riley said. "Miller has done a very good job. He's been a really good leader for this team. He's been loyal to this program. He has worked hard, and he has done a lot of really good things on the football field."
Moss has thrown for 2,555 yards, 18 touchdowns and nine interceptions this season.
