Coach Kirby Smart and the No. 11 Georgia Bulldogs will host the No. 6 Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday. The College GameDay crew has traveled to Georgia to cover the game, but kick-off is not until 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday. As a result, the crew has a lot of time for fun segments before the game starts.

For one segment, Pat McAfee pulled up footage of Kirby Smart's playing days. He was a defensive back for the Bulldogs from 1995 to 1998. In the clip, Smart intercepts a throw from Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning. It was the first interception of Smart's college football career. Smart responded to the clip with a playful statement.

"I'm very proud I got a tip on an overthrow against a Hall of Famer. I just don't want him posting all the throws he made on me today. I don't need to see all that. Only positive energy," he said.

Famously, Peyton Manning was the quarterback of the Tennessee Volunteers during his college career.

Are Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs favored to defeat the Tennessee Volunteers?

Although Kirby Smart had success against Peyton Manning and the Volunteers back in the 90s, that does not matter for Saturday's game. This week's matchup between these two playoff hopefuls is one of the marquee matchups of the week. Georgia (7-2) is coming off a disappointing 28-10 loss to No. 10 Ole Miss.

The loss dropped the Bulldogs nearly 10 spots in the AP Top 25 Poll and made them a borderline playoff team. Another loss could end their playoff hopes.

Conversely, the Volunteers (8-1) are coming off a 33-14 win over Mississippi State and are on a four-game winning streak. Their only loss this season came against Arkansas on October 5th. Since that disappointing loss, they have done a good job of recovering and showing their dominance.

However, despite Tennessee appearing better, the sportsbooks favor Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs to defeat the Volunteers on Saturday. Bet 365 gives Georgia -370 odds to win the game as the favorite. Conversely, Tennessee only has +290 odds as the underdog.

The spread is set at 9.5 points, meaning the sportsbooks do not think the game will be close. Fans will see if that turns out to be true on Saturday evening.
