Dr Pepper's Fansville is back for season 7. The 30-second commercial is a popular satirical episodic drama set in a fictional college town which revolves around college football and drinking Dr. Pepper.
On Monday, the first two episodes of season 7 were released, and one episode features Texas Longhorns quarterback Quinn Ewers. The first episode, titled "Into the Great Unknown," teases the brand's NIL partnership with Texas Longhorns and Ewers.
The third episode will also feature Ewers and it will air on August 26. The episode titled "Call for Backup" focuses on Ewers as the starting quarterback but has one of the most-watched rising talents right behind him, which is true in the real world as Arch Manning is his backup quarterback.
"Dr Pepper is ingrained in college football, woven into the culture and fandom surrounding the sport," said Andrew Springate, Chief Marketing Officer for Keurig Dr Pepper.
"It's been a tremendous year for our brand as we continue to break barriers and hit new milestones of growth within our category.
"As we mark Dr. Pepper's 10th anniversary of becoming the Official Sponsor of the College Football Playoffs, we welcome the new changes energizing the game, as it provides us with even greater opportunities to engage with both new and long-term fans, celebrating new beginnings while embracing the traditions of fandom together."
Ewers is entering his third season at Texas.
