Duke vs. Northwestern injury report: List of players injured ahead of Week 2 showdown

In the weekly news conference, Northwestern coach David Braun spoke about defensive tackle Carmine Bastone's availability.

“I think it’s a stretch this week. We’ll stay optimistic. We’ve still got a few more days, but do anticipate seeing Carmine back here sooner than later,” Braun said.

Duke injury report

Duke wide receiver Eli Pancol missed the last two years due to two lower-body injuries. He returned against Elon and registered 81 yards on seven receptions and a touchdown. Pancol is under observation to ensure that there are no setbacks with his injury.

The talented wide receiver is once again expected to be one of coach Manny Diaz's biggest weapons as the program attempts to move on from the Mike Elko era.
