Travis Hunter claimed the Heisman Trophy on Saturday following his heroics in the 2024 season. Ahead of the presentation ceremony on Saturday, Deion Sanders Jr. trolled Hunter’s outfit for the event while covering the behind-the-scenes action for his media company - Well Off Media. Hunter wore a sky-blue suit and white shoes for the ceremony at Lincoln Center in New York.

However, the attire didn’t impress Sanders Jr. When he entered Travis Hunter’s hotel room, the son of Coach Prime spoke about the outfit that Hunter had laid out on his bed.

“Dumb a** suit,” Deion Jr. said (timestamp 2:44).
“That boy hating, don't be hating dawg. I know it ain't the blue on your mic,” Hunter replied.

After Travis Hunter was named the winner of the 2024 Heisman Trophy on Saturday, the two-way star delivered a heartfelt speech on the podium. Hunter showed his appreciation for Deion Sanders and his son Shedeur Sanders, who were present at the presentation ceremony.

“I want to thank Coach Prime, Shedeur. Man, y'all changed my life forever,” Travis said. “That one simple phone call, Shedeur, look where I'm at. Man, that's crazy, bro. It's crazy. I'm trying not to get emotional because I know our last game coming up soon. But I'm thankful for both of y'all.”
“Coach Prime, I'm going to whip you on that lake tomorrow or whenever we get the chance. But thank you, man. You changed my life forever. I told you that multiple times. I am really appreciative of it.”

Coach Prime guided Hunter throughout his collegiate career. When Sanders was the coach at Jackson State, the standout two-way star surprisingly committed to the Tigers, as the No. 1 prospect in his class, flipping from Florida State. He subsequently followed Deion Sanders to Colorado.

Hunter is now expected to take his career to the next level, on the professional stage. Before that though, he will appear in one last game for the Buffaloes in the Alamo Bowl.
