EA College Football 25 got a massive title update to the game this week, and it fixed various issues players were experiencing across different game modes. Let's take a look at some of the most notable fixes included in the latest patch.
EA College Football 25 Patch Notes
1. Road to CFP
This mode gained an update to its tier system, expanding the selection from three to five tiers. This change helps balance matchups by giving more options to choose from and preventing players from facing off against stronger teams.
2. College Football Ultimate Team
Issues in various modes of the Ultimate Team would see the game crash at halftime kickoffs when playing Champs. Connection problems in Squads 3v3 have been resolved as well.
To add, players can now see their progress and how far they are away from the goal in Challenge Details. The "best lineup" option no longer removes equipped playbooks and visuals.
3. Road to Glory
The Road to Glory mode saw some fixes as well, thanks to the patch. A bug that maxed out skill points after practice has been resolved, as well as an issue that halted player upgrades during a bye week.
4. Dynasty
Dynasty mode saw the biggest changes in the College Football 25 update, with many patches being more presentational than anything else. Over 15 defensive schemes and playbooks were revised, and the frequency of four and five-star recruits being overlooked early in the season was reduced.
The patch also increased the effect that winning and losing a game takes on a recruit during a visit. In terms of polls, the loss penalty for schools with multiple losses was adjusted, and Conference Prestige was given more weight in poll rankings.
